Disbursed Funds

1. On July 20, 2011 CLAF wired US$14,000 for the treatment of two Libyan children at Polyclinique Les Berges Du Lac in Tunis, Tunisia. The hospital received the funds on July 22, 2011 (click here to see the proof of payment).
2. On August 5, 2011 CLAF wired US$8,100 for the treatment of three Libyan children at Clinique El Manar in Tunis, Tunisia. Salah is a nine year old boy with shrapnel in his eyes and wounds to his abdomen. Shahad, Salah's seven year old sister, lost one of her eyes and now has a fitted artificial eye in its place. Halema, their four year old cousin, has shrapnel wounds inflicted on her legs, arms, and forehead. In addition to their medical problems, Salah and Shahad lost both of their parents in an attack on their home in June 2011. Currently, they are in the custody of their uncle, Halema's father. We thank our donors, especially from Houston, Texas, for making this possible. (click here to see the proof of payment).
